How it plays
Gates of Olympus 1000 is the higher-ceiling follow-up to the original, on a 6x5 grid with tumbles. Multiplier symbols now go up to 1,000x, four or more scatters launch 15 free spins, and the bonus buy costs 100x the bet. During free spins every multiplier that lands is added to a running total, and that total is applied to each new winning symbol, so a late bonus can be worth far more than an early one. Three or more scatters in the round add five more free games.
Who it suits
Players who enjoyed the original and want a higher ceiling, and anyone who has decided in advance how much they are willing to spend on a bonus buy.
What a 96.50% RTP means in Canadian dollars
It lists 96.50%, the same as the original. What changes is the price of impatience: the bonus buy at 100x the bet means a $0.50 spin costs $50 to buy the feature. That is a quarter of a $200 bankroll in one click, and the 96.50% listing says nothing about what that single purchase returns. If you play normally, $0.50 for 200 spins ($100) has an expected cost of about $3.50. If you buy, plan for a handful of purchases at most.
Watch out for
The 1,000x multiplier is a ceiling for one symbol, not what a bonus normally pays. Treat the bonus buy as a separate budget line, not part of your normal stake.
Gates of Olympus 1000 compared with its siblings
The original Gates of Olympus tops out at 500x and has no bonus buy that we could confirm. The Super Scatter version changes the trigger instead of the multiplier. Sweet Bonanza 1000 is the sister game with candy bombs rather than orbs.
